Matthew Alan Bittle, 28, St. Meinrad

Matthew Alan Bittle, 28, of St. Meinrad, died on November 13, 2020, at his home.

He was born November 4, 1992, in Huntingburg to James and Linda (Williams) Bittle.

Matthew loved his cat Bo, animals, nature, making people happy and bear hugs. He graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 2011 and was on the swim and dive team. He was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Dale.

He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Bittle; brother, Jesse (Irene) Bittle; sisters, Sarah (Matthew) Leistner and Theresa Bittle Peterson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Mickey Bittle, Pearline and Giles Williams, and step-grandpa, Tony Kluemper.

A mass is planned for 11:30 a.m.CST Thursday, November 19, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi – St. Joseph Church in Dale, with a visitation/celebration of life from 10:30 a.m. CST till service time.
