Mary T. Moeller, 84, of Jasper, passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017, at Brookside Village in Jasper.

Mary was born in Jasper on November 5, 1933, to Albert and Eleanor (Seger) Bachman. She married Dennis P. Moeller on April 16, 1955, in Holy Family Catholic Church.

She was a 1951 graduate of Dubois High School.

Mary retired from Kimball Electronics.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, the Daughters of Isabella, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Stephen Ministry, Einsedein Society of St. Meinrad Archabbey, the Hildegard Society of the Monastery of Immaculate Conception, and the Mother Theodore Guerin Foundation of the Sisters of Providence. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Nursing Home and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was also the coordinator of the Rosary at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years.

She enjoyed playing cards and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Moeller of Jasper; one son, Mark (Karen) Moeller of Jasper; three brothers, Thomas (Charlene) Bachman, Eugene (Dorothy) Bachman, and Kenneth (Marge) Bachman, all of Jasper; one sister-in-law, Rosie Dick of Indianapolis; one brother-in-law, Jerome (Camilla) Moeller of Evansville.

Preceding her in death are two sisters, Rita Schmitt and Helen Teder; two brothers, James and Robert Bachman; and two siblings who died in infancy, William and Ruth Bachman.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary T. Moeller will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The D of I will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
