Mary Margaret Gurley, 81, Evansville

Mary Margaret Gurley, 81, Evansville, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Superior Care Home in Paducah, Ky.

She was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Washington, to Leo “Cabby” and Leona (Nicasse) O’Neill.

Surviving are two sons, William Elles of Memphis, Tenn., and Michael Elles of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Ann (Brian) Morrow of Paducah, Ky.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert Gurley, and a son, James N. Elles.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Road, Evansville. Father Bernie Etienne will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. CDT Thursday at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville. A rosary service will be said at 7 p.m. CDT.
