Mary M. Kemp, 79
Mary M. Kemp, age 79 of Jasper, passed away at 5:18 p.m. Tuesday (February 7, 2012) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 2, 1932 to Basil and Veronica (Merkel) Vonderheide. She married Jerald E. “Bud” Kemp on June 24, 1967; he preceded her in death on March 15, 2007. Mary retired from Master Brand Cabinets in Jasper where she worked for many years. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic church – St. Ann’s Society and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary to Post # 2366 in Huntingburg.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one son, Gary Blaize and sisters, Judy Donnoe. Also a Step -great grandchild, Zac Reinsch.
Funeral services for Mary Kemp will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (February 10, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday (February 9, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday by the St. Ann’s Society at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday by the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary to post # 2366 of Huntingburg at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
