Mary M. Hochgesang, 93
Mary M. Hochgesang, age 93, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Thursday (January 3, 2013) in the St. Charles Health Campus.
She was born October 18, 1919 at Narcoossee, Florida to Louis and Katherine (O’Neal) Burger. She married Carl L. Hochgesang June 20, 1944, he preceded her in death on September 1, 1985.
Mary was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality.

One daughter, Mrs. Randy (Susan) Durcholz, Duff, IN
Four sons,
- Kenneth Hochgesang and spouse Bert, Schnellville, IN
- Wayne Hochgesang and spouse Irene, Bargersville, IN
- Bernard Hochgesang and spouse Betty, Jasper, IN
- Leonard Hochgesang, Jasper, IN
Eight grandchildren and one step-granddaughter and six great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two sisters, Loretta Gerber and Anna Haag and an infant sister Catherine Rose Burger also two brothers, Louis and John Burger.
Funeral services for Mary Hochgesang will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (January 7, 2013) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Japer and one hour before services at church.
Rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday by the Blessed Virgin Sodality at the funeral home.
