Mary “Jean” Boehm, 85

Mary “Jean” Boehm, age 85 of St. Anthony, passed away at 9:20pm, Friday (February 3, 2012) at the Timbers of Jasper.

She was born on August 21st, 1926 to Albert and Edith (Horney) Hasenour in St. Anthony, IN. She married Erwin “Erp” Boehm on May 13th, 1948 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Jean and Erp Boehm owned and operated Hasenour’s Store in St. Anthony, IN. She worked at Jasper Desk for many years. She was also employed as a purchasing agent for Kimball Electronics for 29 years.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and St. Anthony Christian Mothers.

Her hobbies included embroidering quilts and traveling.

Funeral Services for Jean Boehm will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday (February 8th, 2012) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00pm-8:00p.m., Tuesday (February 7th, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and 1 hour before services at the church.
