Mary Jane Krempp, 87

Mary Jane Krempp, age 87, of Jasper, passed away at 4:45 p.m., on Wednesday, (March 5, 2014) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Mary Jane was born on January 16, 1927 in Jasper, Indiana to William and Amelia (Dittmer) Gosman. She married Stanley G. Krempp on June 15, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Mary Jane was a homemaker. She was a founding member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, a member the Jasper Circle of the Daughters of Isabella, and the Tri Kappa Sorority. She was also a patron of Friends of the Arts, Inc., and the Wells Society of Indiana University.

She enjoyed genealogy, needlepoint, and ceramics.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley G. Krempp, of Jasper; two daughters, Martha K. Beckman and her husband William, Omaha, Neb., and Jeanne K. Campbell and her husband Dr. Marc Campbell, of Jasper; one son Michael E. Krempp and his wife Pam, Arlington, Tx.; seven grandchildren; Andrew Krempp; Monica, John, and Nicholas Beckman; and Emilie, Elizabeth, and Christopher Campbell; two great-grandchildren; Olivia and Daniel Krempp.

Preceding her in death are three brothers; Robert, James, and Marty Gosman.

Funeral services for Mary Jane Krempp will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service time on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Arts, Inc. or to Precious Blood Catholic School.
