Mary Iona Rath, 85, Selvin

Mary Iona Rath, 85, of Selvin, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

Mary was born June 16, 1935, to Orva Ray and Daisy Iona Smith in Louisville and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 11 years. She was a member of Barnfork Church in Folsomville.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Rev. Donald Rath, her children Ruth Marshall, Frank Rath, Donna (Lannie) Lampkin and Sally (Daniel) Rainey; eight grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her son Orva Rath and a granddaughter Michelle Brown.

Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private.
