Mary Hawley, 87

Mary Hawley, 87, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasper.

She was born at Dubois, Indiana on June 24 1927 to William and Florence (Hooten) Hentrup.

Mary retired from Western Electric at Indianapolis, Indiana where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper and St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois and Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by four sisters, Doris Gehlhausen of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Alice Childers and husband Millard of Science Hill, Ky., Kathy Knies and husband and Jerry of Jasper and Patti Brosmer and husband Jim of Jasper; one brother, David Hentrup of Jasper.

Preceding her in death are two sisters, Cindy Spivy and Marcella Roberts also four brothers, Donald, Wilfred, Leroy and Louis Hentrup.

Funeral services for Mary Hawley will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015, in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at church.
