Mary E. Gudorf, 91

Mary E. Gudorf, 91, of Jasper, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
She was born at Cannelton, Indiana on August 23, 1923 to William and Eva Ballow. She married Richard J. Gudorf Sr. on September 9, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1991.
Mary was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality. Also a former member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1175.
She enjoyed reading and playing bingo and listening to Elvis Presley music.
She is survived by her daughter, Margie Bell and husband Dan of Santa Claus; three sons, William Gudorf and wife Joetta of Winslow, David Gudorf and wife Mary of Jasper, and Mark Gudorf wife Karen of Jasper; 14 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Jearl Ballow of Springfield, Ill.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two sons, Richard, Larry Gudorf and two brothers, James Ballow and William Ballow.
Funeral services for Mary Gudorf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015, in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Boniface Cemetery in Fulda.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday by the Blessed Virgin Sodality at the funeral home.
