Mary Carolyn Corn, 83, Petersburg
Mary Carolyn Corn, 83, Petersburg, passed away at 7:40 p.m., on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born January 1, 1933, in Wheatland, Indiana to Bryan and Eva (Bullard) Hill; and was united in marriage to Donald Raymond Corn on February 3, 1952, in Otwell.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilts, reading and watching movies, and cowboy action shooting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Raymond Corn, who passed away on March 23, 2008; and two sisters, Margie Scott and Jackie Junkin.
She is survived by three sons, James (Janna) Corn of Petersburg, Bryan Corn of Petersburg and Duane Corn of Lexington, Ky.; four brothers, Bob Hill of Indianapolis, Jerry Hill of Winslow, Larry Hill of Washington and John Hill of Winslow; by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside committal services for Mary Corn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen. The Reverend Lowell Thomas will officiate at the graveside service. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
