Mary Ann Uebelhor, 96

Mary Ann was born in Jasper, Indiana, on December 5, 1918, to Leander and Rose (Dick) Giesler. She married Edmund F. Uebelhor on November 12, 1946, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2001.
Mary Ann was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of the Jasper D of I.
She enjoyed playing cards and quilting.
She is surviving by her one daughter, Ann Leinenbach of Louisville; three sons, Maurice Uebelhor and his wife Cindy of Leander, Texas, Glen Uebelhor and his wife Linda of Jasper, and Stephen Uebelhor and his wife Karen of Nashville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Leona Knust and her husband Lenny of Ferdinand, Sister Millie Giesler of St. Mary of the Woods, Terre Haute, and Viola Schroeder and her husband Orville of Jasper; one brother, Sylvester Giesler and his wife Irene of Jasper.
Preceding her in death are two sisters, Ardella Heim and Florence Neuhoff; and four brothers, Edward, Herman, Robert, and Arnold Giesler.
Funeral services for Mary Ann Uebelhor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Wednesday.
