Mary A. Hulsman, 74

Mary A. Hulsman, 74, of Jasper passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Mary was born on August 17, 1940 in Fulda Indiana to Alois and Frances (Titzer) Kern. She married Linus Hulsman on September 30, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2000.

Mary was a child care provider for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and St. Anthony Christian Mothers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Lindauer of Loogootee; one son, Mike Hulsman and his wife Krista of Lagrange, Ky.; her companion, William Prior of Jasper; four grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Lindauer and Alexa and Evan Hulsman; two sisters, Pat Hayes of Hawesville, Ky. and Matilda “Tillie” Kern of Jasper; one brother, Norbert Kern of Schnellville.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Harold, Albert, and Thomas Kern.

Funeral services for Mary Hulsman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in St. Anthony, Indiana.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
