Marvin James Hopf, 93, Battles Wharf, Ala.

Marvin James Hopf, 93, a native of Jasper and a longtime resident of Battles Wharf, Ala., passed away on Oct. 14, 2025.

He was born on Feb. 6, 1932, to the late Silas and Cecelia Hopf of Jasper.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ann Hopf; sons, Mike, Joe and John; and daughters, Margaret Ann and Becky Hopf.

Funeral was held on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope, Ala. Rosary at 8:45 a.m. CT. Visitation was from 9 to 10 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m.
