Martha K. Evans, 40

Martha K. Evans, 40, of Dubois, passed away at 6:34 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Martha was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on May 20, 1975 to Bernard and Joyce (Gehlhausen) Stallman. She married Richard Evans on May 3, 2003.

She was a 1993 graduate of Heritage Hill High School. She enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Evans of Dubois; six daughters, Megan Stallman of Jasper, Gretchen Cribbs of Jasper, Lelah Jerger and her husband Jade of Huntingburg, Jaucqline Jackson and her husband Jeremy of Evansville, Shannon Evans of Indianapolis and Dianna Evans of Washington; one son, Oliver Evans and his wife Angela of Jasper; 10 grandchildren, Olyvia Beard, Andrew Denu, Sophia Denu, Scott Jerger, Vala Evans, Madison Jackson, Chelsey Mackey, Tonya Mackey, Jonathon Mackey and Dakota Mackey; two great-grandchildren, Derrick Birk and Lilyana Plake; parents, Bernard and Joyce Stallman of Dale; two sisters, Rebecca Rau of Dale and Anita Oldham and her husband Steve of Florida; one brother, BJ Stallman and his wife Pat of Santa Claus; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Emil and Clara Stallman and Leander and Helen Gehlhausen; one sister, Bernadette Stallman; and one brother, John Stallman.

Funeral services for Martha K. Evans will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Wininger will officiate.
