Marshall Tucker Band performance at Lincoln Amphitheatre sold out

When legendary southern rockers the Marshall Tucker Band take the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s performance stage on Friday, August 12, they will do so in front of a sold out crowd.

“We couldn’t be more excited and are looking forward to seeing the seats completely full for the first time this season,” said Marc Steczyk, the Lincoln Amphitheatre director.

The venue, which is enjoying a re-birth, re-branding, and rejuvenation this season, has come close to selling its capacity this year for its season opener (a tribute to the Beach Boys) on May 21, with a tribute to AC/DC in June, and with the finale of A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale in July.

Tickets for the upcoming Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra (September 3) and Eddie Money (September 10) performances are still available at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com.  Those interested are encouraged to get their tickets early, in advance of the shows.

The Lincoln Amphitheatre staff is actively seeking volunteers or not-for-profit groups interested in volunteering for not only this Friday’s performance by the Marshall Tucker Band, but for the remaining performances in the 2016 series, as well.  If you or a group you know of might be interested, please email msteczyk@visitindiana.com for additional information.
