Marlene R. Voegerl, 69

Marlene R. Voegerl, age 69, of St. Anthony, passed away at 6:31 CST on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Marlene was born on December 1, 1944 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Victor and Cyrilla (Klem) Kluemper.
She married Ralph Voegerl on January 12, 1963 at St. Anthony Church in St. Anthony.
Marlene worked for Kimball International for many years, from which she retired.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, and the church’s Christian Mother’s Sodality.
She enjoyed gardening, attending her grandchildren’s events, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Voegerl, of St. Anthony; one daughter, Denise Schnell and her husband Rick, of Schnellville; one son, Steve Voegerl and his wife Kim, of Ferdinand; five grandchildren – Tara Leisman, Brooke Mohr, Matt Schnell, Josh Voegerl, and Braydon Voegerl; four great-grandchildren – Dylan, Caydan, and Reece Leisman, and Ava Mohr; three sisters, Marilyn Luegers and her husband Mike, of Jasper, Mary Huff and her husband Steve, of St. Anthony, and Marcia Dall and her husband Keith, of Fishers, Ind.; one brother, Mark Kluemper and his companion Michelle Koontz, of St. Anthony.
Preceding her in death was her twin sister, Mary Kluemper.
Funeral services for Marlene Voegerl will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church. The Christian Mothers of St. Anthony will perform a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
