Mark Steven “Steve” Banet, 57

Mark Steven “Steve” Banet, age 57, of Holland, Indiana, was found deceased at his residence on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from natural causes.

He was born June 1, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana to Raymond K. and Leaetta (Stout) Banet.

Steve was a retired truck driver and enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Raymond K. Banet; and his longtime companion, Linda Dorris, who died December 20, 2008.

A graveside service and interment of his cremains will take place at Olive Branch Cemetery, next to his longtime companion Linda Dorris, in Hansen, Kentucky. The date of the graveside service is pending. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
