Mark K. Dutchess, 48, S.C., formerly of Jasper

Mark K. Dutchess, 48, formerly of Jasper, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home in North Augusta, South Carolina.

He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on April 13, 1970. He graduated from Jasper High School 1988 and Indiana State University 1992.

Mark enjoyed playing tennis and golf, listening to ’50s and ’60s music especially Elvis, but most notably he enjoyed being a loving father to Emma.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Dutchess and daughter Emma Dutchess, North Augusta, S.C.; father, Robert Dutchess (Julie) of Jasper; mother, Nancy Barnicott (Edwin) of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Stacy Butterfield (Steve), Powell, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Tinnie Scales, North Augusta, South Carolina; and brother-in-law, Josh Scales (Lindsey), Atlanta, Georgia.

Memorial Services for Mark Keith Dutchess will be conducted Friday, December 14, 2018, at 2 o’clock at Posey Funeral Chapel. Edwin Barnicott officiating.

Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
