Mark Fleck, 67, Apple Valley, Minn.

Mark Fleck, 67, of Apple Valley, Minn., passed away on March 22, 2025.

Mark was born on June 11, 1957, in Huntingburg to Tony and Selma (Welp) Fleck.

A Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology graduate, Mark had a lifelong passion for problem-solving. He majored in mechanical engineering, a field that perfectly suited his love of tinkering and inventing creative solutions. Whether fixing something around the house or coming up with a new way to make life easier, he always had a project in the works.

Above all, Mark cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 40 years, Peggy, and a loving father to his sons, Josh (Meg) and Anthony (Lindsay). His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, Henry and June, whom he adored. His playful spirit and ability to make any moment special will be deeply missed.

Mark is also survived by his many siblings, David, Ruth, Jane, Rita and Dan, and extended family, who will remember him for his kindness, curiosity, and unwavering support.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Selma.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at White Funeral Home in Lakeville, Minn., on Saturday March 29, 2025. There will be a visitation at 10 a.m., a celebration of life at 11 a.m. and lunch at 12 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in his memory.

Mark’s love, wisdom, and laughter will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
