Mark A. Thompson, 59, of Petersburg, passed away on April 3, 2023.

Mark was born December 18, 1963, in Jasper to Theodore and Patricia (Goodpastor) Thompson.

Mark worked in many manufacturing trades, including electrical, upholstery and assembly. He liked to fish, collect coins and would enjoy a cup of coffee anytime, day or night. His friends and family are deeply saddened by his sudden loss. He will be dearly missed.

 He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore and brother, Terry Thompson.

Mark is survived by his mother Patricia Thompson; son, Adam Thompson; daughter, Jenna Thompson. He will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held for Mark from 10 a.m. EST until 12 p.m. EST on Friday, April 7, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg.
