Marilyn T. Massey, 87, Dubois
Marilyn T. Massey, 87, of Dubois, passed away at 7:17 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, surrounded by family at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Marilyn was born in Gary, Indiana, on November 21, 1936, to Victor and Bertha (Hein) Schreiber.
She married Keith E. Massey on July 2, 1955, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Merrillville, Indiana.
She worked at Wabash Valley Produce and the Jim Seger Poultry Farms in Dubois.
She was a member of St. Isidore Parish – St. Raphael Catholic Church in Dubois.
Marilyn enjoyed playing cards, water skiing, camping, traveling, shopping, having her family over for holiday dinners, and spending time with her five grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Bonnie (Gary) Heeke of Dubois and Keith (Colleen) Massey Jr. of Dubois; five grandsons, Garren (Jamie) Heeke of Evansville, Blake (Lynn) Heeke of Bradenton, Fla., and Clayton (Amberly) Massey, Evan (Brittany) Massey, and Lance (Madelaine) Massey, all of Dubois; nine great-grandchildren, Ara, Piper, and Demi Massey, Callie, Jolie, and Kip Massey, and Jeb, Jada, and Grady Massey; one sister, Carole Danford of Dubois; one brother, Vernon Schreiber of Merrillville, Ind.; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are one sister, Wilma Lape, and one brother, James Schreiber.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn T. Massey will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass time at the church on Thursday.
