Marilyn “Ruth” Street, 84, Dubois

Marilyn “Ruth” Street, 84, of Dubois, formerly of French Lick, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born April 5, 1932, to Elmer and Velma (Wininger) Quinn. She married Eugene Street on Feb. 11, 1950. He died June 21, 2015.

Mrs. Street attended school in Martin County and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Duane Street (Allen Sullivan) of French Lick; two daughters, Karen (Ronald) Haefling of Dubois and Gloria Jean Cox of Jasper; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, Edward Street, and a brother, James Quinn.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at T.L. Pinnick Chapel, French Lick. Burial will be in Emmons Ridge Cemetery, Hillham.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at T.L. Pinnick Chapel.
