Marilyn E. Harder, age 70,of Jasper, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at home.
Marilyn was born on August 31, 1942 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Lenis and Willa (Hoffman) Kieffner. She married Fredrick Harder on September 4, 1962 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN.
She was a homemaker, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1978. She served as a full time minister for Jehovah’s Witnesses for 12 years.
She enjoyed helping people and also enjoyed birds and flowers.

Two brothers, Duane Kieffner and Gene Kieffner, both of Haysville, IN
Preceding her in death is her father, Lenis Kieffner.
A memorial service for Marilyn E. Harder will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jasper, Indiana.
Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Haysville Community Cemetery in Haysville, IN.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
