Marilyn E. Brahm, 66

Marilyn E. Brahm, 66, Ferdinand, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Ferdinand on Dec. 5, 1948, to August and Hilda (Schaeffer) Luebbehusen. She married Loren A. Brahm on April 26, 1969, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand.

Mrs. Brahm was a lifelong member of St. Ferdinand Parish and a member of the Ferdinand Community Center.

Surviving are her husband, Loren Brahm; two sons, Alex and Josh Brahm, both of Ferdinand; two daughters, Kim Payne and husband John of Evansville and Dana Brahm of Ferdinand; four brothers, Ernie Luebbehusen and wife Helen and Dennis “Schlum” Luebbehusen and wife Rose, both of Ferdinand, and David Luebbehusen and wife Bonnie and Eugene Luebbehusen, both of Jasper; six sisters, Cyrilla Senninger and husband Ralph of Celestine, Carol Heeke and husband Bert, and JoAnn Frick and companion Raymond Buechlein, both of Ferdinand, Eileen Hauser and husband Steve of Schnellville, Janice Luebbehusen of Jasper and Diane Begle and husband Ralph of Huntingburg; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Luebbehusen of Ferdinand and Sue Luebbehusen of Jasper; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roman Luebbehusen.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry. Burial will be in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church Cemetery in Ferdinand.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
