Marilee L. Henke, 85, Evansville

It is with great sadness that the passing of Marilee L. Henke on September 8, 2025, at Walnut Creek Special Care Memory Center, Evansville, is announced.

Ms. Henke would have turned 86 on Sept. 21.

A resident of Evansville, Indiana, Marilee was the daughter of Alphonse and Veronica Henke.

Marilee is survived by siblings, Allen Henke, Luanna Flora, James Henke (Carol), and nephew and nieces, Mark Henke, Sherri Grey, and Johanna Crawford. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Janice Schaeffer, an infant brother, Melvin Henke, sister-in-law, Patty Henke; and brother-in-law, Dennis Schaeffer. 

In accordance with Marilee’s wishes, a private burial was conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.
