Marie P. Weyer, 96

Marie P. Weyer, 96 of Ferdinand died Thursday October 1, 2012 at Scenic Hills Care Center, Ferdinand. She was born July 24, 1916 in Ferdinand to Joseph & Elizabeth (Oeding) Oser. She married Norbert Weyer on April 25, 1939 in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, and he died March 24, 2001.

Marie was a homemaker, a member of St. Ferdinand Parish and its St. Anne’s Sodality. She was also a member of Ferdinand Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Norma Jean) Brosmer of Jasper and Betty Wolf of McLean, VA. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Flora Freson, Lorina Becher, & Irma Stillwell. two brothers, Alois Oser, & Victor Oser.

Funeral services 10:00 AM Monday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8:00 PM Sunday & 7 to 9:30 AM Monday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand.
