Marie E. Wallhauser, 81

Marie E. Wallhauser, 81, of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 7:57 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

Marie was born on January 17, 1934 in Celestine Indiana to Anthony and Elizabeth (Lorey) Schepers. She married Albert G. Wallhauser on June 20, 1959 in St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, IN. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2005.

She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on their family farm for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and embroidery.

She is survived by one daughter, Rose Durcholz and her husband Vince of St. Anthony; three sons, Gene Wallhauser and his wife Jan of Huntingburg, Robert Wallhauser of Birdseye and Dennis Wallhauser of Jasper; six grandchildren.

Preceding her in death beside her husband was one daughter; Mary Wallhauser who died in infancy, one sister; Rose Schepers, and four brothers; Bernard Schepers, Raymond Schepers, Martin Schepers, and Edmund Schepers.

Funeral services for Marie E. Wallhauser will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Friday, February 20, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
