Marian (Mary) Beth Vogler, 66, Ireland

Marian (Mary) Beth Vogler, 66, Ireland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024.

She was born to the late Frank and Ruth (Lechner) Schmitt on November 10, 1957.

Mary Beth wed her husband, Tom Vogler, on September 15, 1979, at St. Mary’s Church in Huntingburg.

Mary Beth was a member of Grace and Truth Church in Ireland. She was a lifelong caregiver who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family and beautiful grandchildren. 

Throughout the years, Mary Beth was a key figure in the ownership and operation of multiple small businesses, including Gambles in Huntingburg, The Corner Deli, Vogler Concessions, Vogler Cleaning, and the Vogler Bait Shop. Her later careers included child care at Kimball Kids and caregiving for Qualicare Home Care.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roger and Mark Schmitt and sister, Karen Sue.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; five children, Zach (Sandy) Blake (Kristine), Allison (Stewart) Lindsey, Nick (Rachel), Evan (Gina); nine grandchildren, and loyal lap dog, Peach. She is also survived by her brothers, Daniel (Sherry), Norbert (Phyllis), Lee Ray (Susie) Schmitt; sisters, Diana (Dennis) Uebelhack and Kim Davis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
