Marian Louise Bolin, 81

Marian Louise Bolin, age 81, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 5:34 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born June 4, 1931 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Willard “Bill” and Beatrice (Stutzman) Rauscher. She married Allen James Bolin on October 9, 1951 in Reno, Nevada. Mrs. Bolin worked at General Electric; was a restaurant manager at the former Forget Me Not Café in Huntingburg; and managed both the Jiffy’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Huntingburg and Jasper.

She was preceded in death by: her parents and stepfather, Raymond Pfaff; her husband, Allen James Bolin, who passed away January 9, 2009; and one brother, Russ Rauscher.

She is survived by:

One son, James “Mitch” Bolin – Huntingburg, IN

One daughter, Joanna “Dee” Ridener – Tell City, IN

Three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Marian Louise Bolin will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to: The Humane Society.
