Margie Rottet, 92

Margie Rottet, age 92, passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday (June 4, 2013) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Margie was born on May 3, 1921 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Paul and Marie (Conn) Junge. She married Francis W. Rottet on January 27, 1940 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1991.

She was a homemaker and she retired from the Jasper Laundry.

She was a member of the Christian Church of Jasper and a past member of the V.F.W. Auxillary.

She enjoyed embroidery, ceramics, making detailed doll houses, and building Christmas scenes. She also enjoyed painting and coloring floral prints.

Funeral services for Margie Rottet will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (June 8, 2013) at the Christian Church of Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service time at the church.
