Margie Ann Clark, 81, Loogootee

Margie Ann Clark, 81, of Loogootee, passed away at 9:48 p.m. at Jasper Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

She was born February 1, 1936, in Loogootee to Alfred and Wilma (Way) Clark.

Margie was a member of St. Martins church in Whitfield. She earned her master’s degree in nursing. She worked and taught at St. Mary’s School in Evansville and the University of Evansville. She worked at many hospitals over the years, including Daviess County Hospital, Jasper Memorial Hospital and several hospitals in Indianapolis, including St. Francis.

She is survived by her brothers; Frank (Linda) Clark of Jasper, Jack (Marcia) Clark of Beaufort, S.C., John (Patricia) Clark of Jasper, Fred Clark of Jasper and Tom Clark of Albany, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Wilma Clark; brothers, Bob Clark, Bill Clark and Jim Clark; and sisters; Mary Walton and Betty Sutton.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017, from 10 a.m. until noon and a memorial service will be at noon at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will be held on a later date.
