Margaret R. Redden, 52, of English, Indiana, passed away at 11:39 a.m., on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born June 20, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Paul and Rosa (Slater) Smock. She married Roy N. Redden on October 30, 1982 in West Fork, Indiana.

Margaret was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one brother, Donald Smock; and one half-brother, Paul Randall.

She is survived by her husband, Roy N. Redden of English; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jessica (Kevin) Quinn of Eckerty and Catherine Stockdale of English; three sons, Joshua Redden, Benjamin Redden, and Matthew Redden, all of English; one sister and brother-in-law, Anna (Alan) Neukam of Evansville; one brother, Robert Smock of Santa Claus; one half-sister, Martha Knowles of Florida; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for Margaret R. Redden will be held at 7:00 p.m., EST, Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Chapel from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, the day of the funeral.

A graveside committal service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near English, Indiana.  Pastor Kevin D. Quinn will officiate at the service.
