Margaret Marie Bufkin, 86
Margaret Marie Bufkin, age 86, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 8:25 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2011 at The Waters of Huntingburg nursing center in Huntingburg.
She was born December 21, 1924 in Huntingburg to Louis and Theresa (Renner) Reckelhoff. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Bufkin on February 9, 1946 in Evansville. Margaret worked at both General Electric and Office Furniture Styline. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles; volunteered at the Christian Ministries Food Bank in Huntingburg; and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert J. Bufkin, who died on September 11, 1995; and three brothers – William, James, and Paul Reckelhoff.
She is survived by:
One daughter and one son-in-law:

One brother:
- David Reckelhoff – St. Louis, Missouri,
and one sister:
- Louise Prise – Indio, California.
Funeral services for Margaret Marie Bufkin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Monday. The V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 p.m., Monday evening, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to: the Activities Department of The Waters of Huntingburg.
