Margaret M. Eskridge 99, Newburgh
Margaret M. Eskridge 99, of Newburgh, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
She moved from Iowa in May 1928 to Gentryville and lived there most of her life. Margaret married Victor Eskridge May 1, 1937. They were married 53 years. She worked at Briggs during WWII making airplane wings and worked for General Electric for nearly 22 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, making quilts and genealogy. She was a devout Christian that loved her family and was a wonderful mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; a son, Gerald; and brother, Wallace Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Miller; son, Rondal (Linda) Eskridge; brother Ulis Jones; stepsisters, Mary Somers and Ruth Burkett; one granddaughter, Rhonda Miller; two great-grandchildren, Alana (Jared) Tierney and Kyle (Shannon) Stinnett; six great-great-grandchildren; stepgrandchildren, Lisa Hurley and Lee Larson; two step-great-grandchildren; nephews, Donald (Staci) Jones and Harlan (Myra) Eskridge and nieces, Janalee (Phil) Richardson, Pamela Bell, Doris (Jack) Ashley, Betty Ann Logan.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 30, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT at Fuller Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service is planned for Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. CDT at Fuller Funeral Home in Dale, with burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Morningside C.P. Church, 8419 Newburgh Road, Evansville, IN. 47715.
