Margaret Griepenstroh, 93, Gentryville

Margaret Griepenstroh, 93, of Gentryville, died January 24, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

She was born September 27, 1926, in Indianapolis to Otto and Esther (Hicks) Oskins.

She graduated from Gentryville High School and worked at GE in Tell City. She was a member of the Gentryville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed in 2000; a granddaughter, Heather; a brother in infancy and a sister, Helen Bolton.

She is survived by a son, William (Carol) Griepenstroh; a daughter, Phyllis (Nick) Hart; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Blowers; two brothers, Jim (Fern) Oskins and Richard (Gail) Oskins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. CST till 7 p.m. CST at the Gentryville United Methodist Church.

A Funeral Service is planned for Friday, January 31, 2020, at 10 a.m. CST at the Gentryville United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gentryville United Methodist Church.
