Margaret A. Kress, 73
Margaret A. Kress, age 73, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Friday (December 16, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born July 12, 1938 in Jasper to Lawrence and Marcella (Marks) Fleck. She married Thomas M. Kress June 13, 1959. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1999.
Mag Kress worked for many years for the German American Bank in Jasper after leaving the bank she worked for the Dubois County Prosecutor Office , later she was instrumental for establishment of the claims department for small claims court and after retirement worked for the city of Jasper as an administrative assistant.
She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church also very active in the Democratic Organization in the city.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are; Two sisters, Donna Schmitt and Irma Schnaus Schulte. one brother, Allen Fleck.
Funeral services for Margaret Kress will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (December 20, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday (December 19, 2011) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
