Marcella (Sally) Romeri, 86

Marcella (Sally) Romeri, 86, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, (August 19, 2015) at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.

Sally was born in Jasper, Indiana on March 10, 1929, to Clemens and Anna (Wigand) Voegerl.

She worked in the dietary department for Northwood Retirement Community for many years. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

She is survived by her son, Greg Romeri, who is serving in the U.S. Army in Germany; sisters, Betty Gehlhausen and husband John of Jasper, Lucille Hardin of Ireland and Eileen Schepers and husband Jim of Celestine; two brothers, John Voegerl and wife Terri of Jasper and Allen Voegerl of Shoals.

Preceding her in death are one brother, Jerome Voegerl and two sisters, Sr. Ann Clement ( Sisters of Providence) and Mary Klem.

Funeral services for Marcella Romeri will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, (August 20, 2015), in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at a later date. Friends may call one hour services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be may be made to Cathedral Health Care Center or to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
