Marcella C. Weyer, 92

Marcella C. Weyer, 92, of Ferdinand, died Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Brookside Village Senior Living Community in Jasper.

She was born in St. Anthony on Feb. 25, 1923, to Henry and Tillie (Burke) Hasenour. She married Leo G. Weyer on April 15, 1948, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. He died Dec. 22, 2001.

Mrs. Weyer was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish and its St. Anne’s Sodality. She enjoyed quilting, music, bingo,  game shows and her family.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Weyer and wife Patty of Ferdinand; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Charles Weyer; four brothers, Ray Hasenour and infants Bernard, Arnold and Andrew Hasenour; and five sisters, Lena Steffen, Carrie Toby and infants Birgita, Mary and Elizabeth Hasenour.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand. Burial will in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
