Man arrested for shoplifting wanted in Louisiana

A suspected shoplifter was found to have charges in Louisiana.

Police were called to Walmart at about 11:09 a.m. in reference to a man being detained by loss prevention personnel for allegedly shoplifting clothing and toys valued at about $141.07.

During processing, the Jasper Police Department determined Darius D. Sullivan, 27, of Houston, Texas, had a warrant for his arrest in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana for charges of possession of stolen property and computer fraud.

Sullivan was charged with shoplifting and booked into the Dubois County Security Center where he is awaiting extradition after facing his Class A misdemeanor charges in Dubois County.
