Man arrested on molestation charges

Jasper Police arrested 50-year-old Michael Jackson of 307 W. 14th St., at 4:35 p.m. Friday on a warrant charging him with multiple felony counts of child molesting and criminal confinement.

According to authorities, a warrant was issued after a recent investigation by the Dubois County Department of Child Services and Jasper police. Jackson was charged with Class C felony counts of child molesting and criminal confinement, a Level 1 felony count of child molesting and a Level 4 felony count of criminal confinement.

Arrested subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
