Man arrested for threatening to shoot someone at Walmart

Jasper police arrested a Crawford County man after being called to the Jasper Walmart concerning a man threatening to shoot someone.

Police were called to Walmart at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night and when they arrived, they determined Colin R. Thomas, 19, of Taswell, had allegedly stolen $100 from another person and had threatened to shoot him.

Police said that Thomas became agitated after being detained and was disorderly, yelling obscenities at officers.

Thomas was charged with disorderly conduct, intimidation and theft.

Thomas was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.

Dubois County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
