Madeline Charlise Fisher, 11

Madeline Charlise Fisher, 11, of Evansville passed away at 8:03 pm, Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Madeline was born December 14, 2003 in Jasper, Indiana.

She was a 5th grade student at Dexter Elementary School. Madeline was a bright and nurturing girl who enjoyed reading and peer tutoring other students at her school. She had a creative streak within her and let it shine through in her writing and art work. Madeline loved her family, her friends and her cat, Sophie very much. She will be missed enormously and remembered always with love.

Madeline is survived by her mother, Sarah Weitkamp and brother, Jonah Weitkamp, both of Evansville; father and step-mother, Jeremy and Carrie Fisher, of Jasper; grandparents, Terri Weitkamp of Evansville, Keith and Jean Weitkamp of Spurgeon, Ind., Jackie Mellenthin of Ferdinand and John and Iva Fisher of Oakland City and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel –A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Pastor Steve Schwambach officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery, Stendal, Indiana.
