Mack announces he will appeal, will fight corruption, and will stay in the mayoral race

On the advice of legal counsel, I will not be making any comment at this time to the news media regarding specifics of the five felony charges I was convicted of on Thursday, 08/18/2011. I can and will state, with a very saddened heart, my constitutional rights as an American citizen to bear arms and right to self protection is secondary to local politics – for now.

What is even more disconcerting, is that every Dubois County citizens‘ right to exercise their Second Amendment under our U.S. Constitution is in jeopardy. I can infer this from the statements the Dubois County prosecutor made during trial and to the news media afterwards. Others must make their own inferences, but rest assured, the prosecutor Crouse has given us the notion that inferences and circumstantial evidence are just as valid in a court of law as are a finding of facts beyond a reasonable doubt. In the case of the people vs. prosecutor Crouse, his victory in “sending a message to Dubois County” against our constitutional rights will be short lived.

I will appeal my conviction. My life has, and will not change. The legal ordeal I continue to be embroiled in has only made me a stronger person. Fortunately, this ordeal has already begun to flush out closet elitists whom will feel free to attack my character now, rather than later. These elitists will only have regret for their now acceptable personal attacks on my character, not by me as one person, but by the Jasper and Dubois County common man societies as a whole.

I will continue to run for mayor of Jasper, continue to run the most successful business of its kind in the greater tri-state area, and will continue to fight against corruption in the local government , in local law enforcement, and in the local legal system. I, along with all common men, women, and children alike, will be sending a message to our elected and appointed Dubois County officials that we, the people of Jasper and Dubois County, will not tolerate any of these branches of local government treading on our God given and Constitutional rights.
