Lucile C. Peach, 96

Lucile C. Peach, 96, of Huntingburg, passed away at 10:02 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born April 5, 1918 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Harvey and Clara (Hunefeld) Wessel. She married Don Peach on October 2, 1949 at the Methodist Church in Huntingburg.
Lucile was a retired secretary for the former First National Bank. She was a graduate of Huntingburg High School, was a faithful member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church, and was an active participant in the Eastern Star and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed baking, embroidery work and quilting.
Lucile was preceded in death by her husband, Don Peach, who passed away May 24, 2000; two daughters, Phyllis Dorris and Jean Peach; one son who died in infancy, David Allen Peach; one sister, Laverne Helmerich; three brothers, Alfred Wessel, Edgar Wessel and Wilbur Wessel; and one grandson, Greg Rogier.
She is survived by two daughters and two son-in-laws, Donna (William) Lindeman of Ferdinand and Cheryl (Norman) Cravens of Huntingburg; one sister, Ruth King of Huntingburg; seven grandchildren, David Lindeman, Cynthia Lindeman, Ronald Rogier, John Franzell, Robert Franzell, Melinda Lee and Michelle Cary; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lucile C. Peach will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Reverend Lee Campbell will officiate at the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the day of the funeral. Memorial services will be conducted by the Eastern Star and also the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary starting at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
