Louise Wilma Hostetter, 88, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at The Timbers of Jasper.

She was born on August 7, 1926 in Dubois County to Vernon and Helen (Myers) Shelton.

Louise grew up in Otwell, Indiana and was a graduate of Otwell High School. She was a homemaker, but later worked and retired from Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. She volunteered at Jasper Good Samaritan Nursing Center as a pianist for chapel services for many years.

She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Dennis A. Hostetter and his wife Jo Ellen, Fremont, Ind., John C. Hostetter and his wife Kathie, Rensselaer, Ind., and Paul Hostetter, Warsaw, Ind.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is one brother, Donald R. Shelton and one sister, Alberta McClure.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper. Visitation will also be available for one hour prior to services at Shiloh United Methodist Church on Saturday. Rev. Paul Alvey and Rev. Larry VanCamp will officiate.
