Louise Elizabeth Dischinger, 93, Huntingburg

Louise Elizabeth Dischinger, 93, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born July 29, 1922 in Huntingburg to Hassel and Catherine (Roos) Kellams.

Louise worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the business office for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eastern Star, DAR, and the Business Women’s Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. Dischinger, Sr.; and one brother, James Kellams.

She is survived by two sons, James Ray (Cheryl) Dischinger of Huntingburg and John Lee Dischinger II of New Albany; two grandsons, Kyle and Trent Dischinger.

Funeral services for Louise Dischinger will be held at 9:30 a.m. EST on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Fr. Biju Thomas will conduct the funeral mass.

There will not be a public visitation before the funeral mass.
