Louis T. Pfaff, 85, Ireland, passed away at 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Louis was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on June 11, 1931 to John and Marie (Striegel) Pfaff. He married Marilyn Huntman on June 28, 1951 in Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick.

Louis worked as an electrician for Hulsman Electric for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, the Jasper Knights of Columbus, the Uhl Society and a past member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Louis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing horse shoes and softball. He was an Uhl collector. He was also an avid Ireland Spuds, Indiana Hoosiers, St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts fan.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Pfaff of Ireland; three daughters, Gayle Durcholz of Indianapolis, Michelle Seger and her husband Gary of Jasper and Dawn Tart of Jasper; five grandchildren, Kelly Eppler and Kreg Durcholz, Sean and Jacob Seger, and Audra Tart; one sister, Marge Hinkley of Arkansas; three brothers, Vic Pfaff, and his wife Janet of Jasper, Richard Pfaff of Plainfield, Ind., and Ronnie Pfaff and his wife Kim of Jasper.

Preceding him in death is one sister, Dolores Curry.

Funeral services for Louis T. Pfaff will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
