Louella Wellmeyer, 93, Holland

Louella Wellmeyer, 93, of Holland, passed away at 9:28 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

She was born November 5, 1922 in Pike County to Charles and Minnie (Mason) Couts. She married Eldo Wellmeyer in 1946 in Stendal, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1959; four brothers, Kenny, George, Charles Robert and Jack Couts; and one sister, Mary Hunley.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Wellmeyer of Huntingburg and Ray (Dixie) Wellmeyer of Velpen; one sister, Margaret Rothrock of Winslow; one brother, Paul (Marsha) Couts of Oakland City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Louella Wellmeyer will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Stendal.

Pastor Jeff Crowe will officiate at the funeral service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
