Loretta Hasenour, 86

Loretta Hasenour, 86, of Saint Anthony, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at St Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Loretta was born in Celestine, Indiana on July 23, 1929 to Herbert and Rose (Reckelhoff) Stemle. She married Jerome T. Hasenour on October 2, 1947 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2010.

Loretta was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana and the St. Anthony Christian Mothers. She was a member of the St. Anthony Community Center, the St. Anthony Conservation Club, and the Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed flowers, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy Holweger and her husband Allan of Newburgh, Jane Norman and her husband Dave of Birdseye and Sharon Schroering of Jasper; three sons, Randy Hasenour of Crystal, Gary Hasenour and his wife Jill of St. Anthony and Jeff Hasenour and his wife Sheryl of Newburgh; 15 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Humbert of Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were two brothers, Lawrence Stemle and Anthony Stemle; and a son-in-law, Michael Schroering.

Funeral services for Loretta Hasenour will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Monday, August 31, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony.
